Your 2 Days Desert Tour in Morocco From Marrakech begins early in the morning with a pick-up from the airport or your accommodation in Marrakech. We cross the High Atlas Mountains with photo stops along the winding road of Tizi n’Tichka (2,260 meters). Next, we will pass through the Ounila Valley, enjoying panoramic views of the Valley of Paradise. Then we will visit the Telouet kasbah, known for its Andalusian architecture and ornate cedar wood ceilings (optional stop). After that, we visit the Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou, a fortified village and UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has appeared in many popular films and television series, such as Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones.

After lunch, we continue to Ouarzazate, nicknamed the "Hollywood of Africa" or the "Quiet City", which is described as the world's largest natural film studio, where we will visit the Atlas Film Studios, and the historic Kasbah of Taourirt. Then we to Skoura, home to a thousand kasbahs, and Kelâat M'Gouna, the rose capital of Morocco. Kelâat M'Gouna is famous for the high quality of its roses and the many cosmetics made from local roses. where you will visit a local rose cooperative (optional).

Our tour continues with a visit to the Dades Gorges, where you will visit the rock formation known as "Monkey's Fingers", as well as the Todgha Gorges, a 320-meter-high gorges located in the eastern part of the High Atlas Mountains and a preferred place for mountain climbers. Enjoy a walk between its towering cliffs and palm oasis scenery and enjoy Moroccan mint tea by the river.

Finally, we drive to the Merzouga Desert, passing through the palm oases of Tinghir and Melaab, where we will visit a local cooperative to learn about Berber culture and try on a Berber wedding costume (optional). Then, we will drive to Erfoud, known as the date capital, where we will visit a fossil museum. By late afternoon, we reach Merzouga, where your camel guide will be waiting to begin your camel ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes. You will stop at a high sand dune to watch the beautiful sunrise over the desert. Afterward, we will head to your desert camp for dinner, enjoying Berber music and dancing around the campfire. Wake up early to experience one of the Sahara’s most magical moments, sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast at the camp, you will return by camel or 4x4 (your choice) to the dune line, where your driver will be waiting to continue the journey towards Rissani, a historic city where you will visit its traditional market on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif (optional).

Afterwards, we continue our trip through Nkoub, known as the Kingdom of Kasbahs (with 45 kasbahs), where we will stop for lunch with a panoramic view of the palm oasis. Then, we will drive through the Draa Valley, the longest valley in Morocco, and then the gray Saghro Mountains.
