4 Days Agadir to Merzouga Desert Tour. In this 4 day / 3 night tour you will visit so many amazing sites. Starting in Agadir and its beaches, then passing through Taroudant, nicknamed “Little Marrakech,” and Taznakht, known for its intricately detailed carpets and renowned local handicrafts. Next, you’ll visit Ouarzazate, dubbed the “Hollywood of Africa,” a quiet city and gateway to the Sahara, surrounded by kasbahs and breathtaking desert landscapes. Then there’s the historic Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a traditional mud-brick village and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which has served as the filming location for famous movies such as Game of Thrones, The Mummy, Alexander, and Gladiator.
Our tour continues along the Route of a Thousand Kasbahs “1000 Kasbahs” towards the majestic Todgha Gorge, where the towering canyon walls create a serene natural setting, offering stunning views of palm oases and traditional Berber houses. Furthermore, you will visit the Merzouga desert and experience camel riding across the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, witnessing the enchanting sunrise and sunset over the desert. Spend the night in a quiet desert camp, under the stars and enjoy other desert activities such as quad biking. You will also visit the vibrant historic Rissani Souk, which takes you back in time on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Then, you will visit the Erg Chegaga desert in Zagora, passing through the Anti-Atlas Mountains, before returning to Agadir via Taliouine, known as the saffron capital of Morocco.
