This short, private desert excursion from Errachidia will take you to discover Morocco’s largest oasis, the famous Ziz Valley, and the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga. There, you’ll visit nomadic families in their tents and learn about their way of life. You’ll also enjoy Gnawa music and traditional desert dance performances in Khamlia. Afterward, you’ll visit an ancient kohl “eyeliner” mine, the desert lake of Merzouga, and a palm oasis. You’ll also experience a camel ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes and witness a breathtaking sunset.
You’ll also spend an unforgettable night in a peaceful desert camp. On the final day, we’ll visit the Todgha Gorge and the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, and cross the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi n’Tichka pass towards Marrakech.
