Overview
If you’re looking to explore the landscapes and culture of southern Morocco, this 3-day desert excursion from Ouarzazate to Fes offers the chance to visit numerous historical and beautiful sites. You’ll travel through stunning valleys, traditional villages, and breathtaking scenery. Highlights include the Todgha Gorge and the vast Merzouga Desert. There, you’ll enjoy a tranquil camel ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes, witness a mesmerizing sunset from the dune peaks, and spend a night in a peaceful desert camp under the stars. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit Bedouin families living near the dunes and explore the village of Khamlia, famous for its Gnawa music, in a 4×4. You’ll also visit Rissani and its traditional souk, which will transport you back in time, and Erfoud, the date capital and a city rich in fossils. Then, we head north through the Atlas Mountains to Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco, and its cedar forest, home to the Barbary macaque. Finally, the tour ends in Fes.
