Upon arrival at Errachidia airport or pickup from your accommodation, your driver welcomes you and begins the journey south.

The road follows the Ziz Valley, where thousands of palm trees line the river below high desert cliffs. Stop at panoramic viewpoints to admire one of the largest oasis landscapes in Morocco.

Continue toward Erfoud, famous for its fossil workshops and date production. If you wish, visit a local fossil workshop to see ancient marine stones transformed into decorative pieces.

In the afternoon, arrive in Merzouga near the dunes. Check into your accommodation and enjoy a peaceful evening at the edge of the Sahara. Overnight in Merzouga.

After breakfast, begin a full exploration of the Merzouga desert region by 4x4.

Drive across rocky desert plains behind the dunes, stopping to visit nomad families who live in traditional tents. Share tea and learn about daily life in this remote environment.

Continue toward Khamlia village where you will enjoy traditional desert music performed by local musicians. After lunch, visit small fossil areas and oasis spots near the dunes.

In the late afternoon, meet your camel guide and ride into the dunes of Erg Chebbi. The pace is slow and peaceful as the light changes across the sand. Stop on a high dune to watch the sunset before continuing to your desert camp.

Dinner is served under the open sky followed by music around the campfire. Overnight in a private desert tent.

Wake early to witness the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast at the camp, return by camel or 4x4 to meet your driver.

Leave the desert and drive to Rissani, a historic trading town with a traditional market atmosphere. Continue through Erfoud and along the Ziz River before climbing toward Midelt, where you may stop for lunch.

The landscape gradually changes as you cross the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop at the Cedar Forest near Azrou where Barbary macaques move freely among the trees.

Before reaching Fes, stop in Ifrane, known for its clean streets and alpine style architecture. Late afternoon arrival in Fes with drop off at your accommodation or airport.
