12 Day in Morocco Itinerary from Tangier: Blue city, Desert & Marrakech

12 Days

Overview

This private 12 day Morocco tour from Tangier is made for travelers who want Morocco in full detail, not rushed. You start in the north between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean, then slow down in Chefchaouen’s blue lanes, dive into the history of Fes with a local guide, and travel south across the Middle Atlas into the Sahara Desert of Merzouga.

In Merzouga, you do more than a quick camel ride. You spend a real desert night in a camp, watch sunset and sunrise on the dunes, and explore the region by 4×4, including a visit to a nomad family and Gnawa music in Khamlia. After the desert, the route follows Morocco’s most beautiful landscapes: Todra Gorge, Dades Valley, Skoura’s palm oasis, Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou. Then you cross the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech for a guided city tour. To finish, you enjoy the Atlantic coast in Essaouira, then visit Casablanca and Rabat before returning to Tangier.

This itinerary is private, flexible, and planned by a local Moroccan travel team that knows the road, the best stops, and the right pace.
