After breakfast, meet your local guide for a full exploration of Fes, one of Morocco’s most historic cities. The day begins with panoramic viewpoints overlooking the old medina, followed by a visit to the Royal Palace gates.

Walking through the medina feels like stepping back in time. Narrow streets lead to artisan workshops, traditional markets, and historic schools decorated with detailed craftsmanship. You will visit the famous leather tanneries and learn how traditional techniques are still used today.

Leaving Fes, the journey heads toward the Sahara Desert. The road climbs into the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping first in Ifrane, known for its alpine-style architecture and clean mountain air.

Continue to the cedar forest near Azrou, home to wild Barbary monkeys. After time for photos and a short walk, the drive continues through changing landscapes toward Midelt for a lunch break.

In the afternoon, descend toward the Ziz Valley, where palm groves stretch along the valley floor. By late afternoon you arrive in Merzouga at the edge of the dunes.

Here, camels await for a peaceful trek across the sand as the light softens toward sunset. Upon reaching the desert camp, enjoy dinner, local music, and a quiet night beneath a sky filled with stars.

Wake early to watch sunrise over the dunes before breakfast at camp. The journey continues toward Rissani, a historic trading town known for its traditional market atmosphere.

Driving through desert landscapes, you reach Todra Gorge, where high canyon walls create one of the most impressive natural sites in southern Morocco. Enjoy a walk along the river and time to relax before continuing toward Dades Valley.

The afternoon drive passes unusual rock formations and winding mountain roads, offering some of the most scenic views of the trip. Overnight stay in a guesthouse overlooking the valley.

After breakfast, travel along the famous road of kasbahs toward Ouarzazate. Pass through Skoura oasis before arriving at Ait Ben Haddou, a historic fortified village recognized as a World Heritage Site.
