On the first day of your 2 day Desert tour in Morocco, your driver will pick you up from the airport or your accommodation in Marrakech in the morning. We will head south through the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains, stopping along the way to take photos and enjoy panoramic views, including the 2,260-meter-high Tizi n'Tichka pass. Next, we will drive to the fortified village of Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its traditional architecture and featured in numerous international films and television series, such as Gladiator, Game of Thrones, The Mummy, and Alexander. There, we will explore the village with a tour guide.

After lunch, we will continue our tour into the Sahara Desert, passing through Ouarzazate, nicknamed the Hollywood of Africa, which is described as the world's largest natural film studio, where we will visit Taourirt Kasbah and the Atlas studios. Then we continue our journey through the Draa Valley, the largest palm oasis and longest valley in Morocco, passing through Berber villages with a desert climate and diverse terrain, such as Timidert and Tinzouline.

In the afternoon, we arrive in the Zagora desert. There, your camel guide awaits you to begin your camel ride across the dunes of Zagora, pausing at a high sand dune to watch the breathtaking sunset over the desert. Afterward, we continue to your desert camp, where you will enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, Berber music around the campfire, and a peaceful night under the stars. Overnight stay at the Zagora desert camp.

Wake up early to enjoy the calm beauty of sunrise over the desert. Then, we will return to the camp for a traditional Moroccan breakfast. After that, we'll return by camel to Zagora, where your driver will be waiting to begin the journey back to Marrakech.

On the way, we'll stop again in Ouarzazate, visit sites such as the Taourirt Kasbah or the film Atlas studios. In the afternoon, we'll cross the High Atlas Mountains once more and stop at an Argan oil cooperative where you'll learn about the Argan oil production process (optional).
